Thomas J. Roulet FAcSS is a French-British social scientist, management thinker and professor at the University of Cambridge where he holds the Chair of Organisational Sociology and Leadership.[1][2][3][4] He has advanced the concept of negative social evaluations[5] and is known for his research on wellbeing in the context of remote work.[6][7] He is a Faculty at the Judge Business School,[8] and a Fellow of King's College Cambridge.[9]

Roulet is a regular commentator on workplace issues, leadership and management education for a variety of media including the BBC,[10][11] the Telegraph,[12][13][14] the Financial Times,[15][16][17][18] ITV News,[19][20] Le Monde,[21][22][23] The Washington Post[24][25] or The Guardian[26][27] among others. He writes a column on strategic leadership for Forbes.[28]

In 2024, he was elected Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences.[29] In 2020, he was elected as one of the trustees and council members of the Society for the Advancement of Management Studies.[30] He is also a Mid-Career Fellow of the British Academy[31] and Fellow of the British Higher Education Academy. He serves as the co-director of the King's Entrepreneurship Lab[32] at King's College Cambridge, which he co-founded in 2021.
