Tianjin Hospital of Tianjin, abbreviated as Tianjin Hospital, was formed in 2012 through the merger of the original Tianjin Hospital and Tianhe Hospital. When it was first established, Tianjin Hospital was initially named Haihe Hospital of Tianjin. In June 1966, it was renamed Anti-Imperialism Hospital of Tianjin. In 1971, the Orthopedics Department of Tianjin People's Hospital was integrated into the hospital, and in June 1972, it was renamed Tianjin Hospital.[1]
Currently, Tianjin Hospital's Hexi Campus is located at 406 Jiefang South Road, Hexi District, Tianjin, and its Heping Campus is located at 122 Munan Avenue, Heping District, Tianjin, which is the former site of Tianhe Hospital. Tianjin Hospital is a Grade 3A hospital specializing in the treatment of orthopedic diseases and is under the jurisdiction of the Tianjin Municipal Health Commission.
