Timothy James DeRuyter (/dəˈrtər/ də-ROO-tər; born January 3, 1963) is an American football coach and former player who is currently the defensive coordinator at Texas Tech University. He previously served in the same capacity at the University of Oregon in 2021 and prior to that he was the associate head coach and defensive coordinator at the University of California, Berkeley from 2017 to 2020 and head coach at California State University, Fresno from 2012 to 2016.[1]
