Tim Simonec (born June 11, 1951) is a composer, orchestrator, conductor, and arranger.[ 1] [ 2] He is known for work in film and TV series such as the production of the soundtrack for Whiplash (2014) [ 3] and conducting the orchestra for Zootopia ,[ 4] Lost ,[ 5] [ 6] and The Incredibles .[ 7]
He is also known for scoring the video games The Incredibles and Ratatouille .
He won the award for Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Arrangement in 2009 with Michael Giacchino .[ 8] [ 9]
