Tokoname (常滑市, Tokoname-shi) is a city in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 October 2019[update], the city had an estimated population of 57,872 in 24,872 households,[1] and a population density of 1,035 persons per km2. The total area of the city is 55.90 square kilometres (21.58 sq mi).
