Tom Finkelpearl (born February 1, 1956) is an American arts promoter, former museum director, and former Commissioner of the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.[2] He was appointed in 2014 by the New York City mayor, Bill de Blasio,[3] and served through the end of 2019.[4]
