Troup County (pronounced /truːp/ TROOP) is a county located in the west central portion of the U.S. state of Georgia. As of the 2020 census, the population was 69,426.[1][2] The county seat is LaGrange.[3]
Troup County comprises the LaGrange micropolitan statistical area along with Chambers County, AL. It is included in the Atlanta-Athens-Clarke County-Sandy Springs combined statistical area.
