Tugun (/ˈtjuːɡən, ˈtuː-/ TEW-gən, TOO-) is a beach-side coastal suburb in the City of Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.[3] In the 2021 census, Tugun had a population of 7,175 people.[1]
It borders New South Wales.[2] Some locals refer to the suburb as Tugz (pronounced CHOOGZ).[4][5]
