Ty Smith (born March 24, 2000) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman for the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract for the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League (NHL).[1] He was drafted in the first round, 17th overall, in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils.
