Tyler Styer (born 12 January 1995)[1] is an American professional pool player from Vernon, Wisconsin. Styer represented the United States at the 2018 Mosconi Cup and the 2019 Mosconi Cup.[2][3] Styer was the winner of the 2019 Kremlin World Cup, defeating David Alcaide in the final.[4] His nickname is Sherman due to his resemblance to the character of the same name from the American Pie film franchise.

Styer began playing pool in 2009, aged 14,[5] before reaching 13th position at the 2013 WPA World Nine-ball Junior Championship.[6] His favorite food is chicken nuggets, but it is not unheard of for him to have a burger on occasion.

Styer is starring in the upcoming billiard movie, "The Tale of Texas Pool", set to be released on December 25, 2024. [7]
