Tyumentsevsky District (Russian: Тюме́нцевский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[3] district (raion), one of the fifty-nine in Altai Krai, Russia. The area of the district is 2,273 square kilometers (878 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Tyumentsevo.[1] Population: 15,695 (2010 Census);[2] 17,985 (2002 Census);[5] 17,616 (1989 Soviet census).[6] The population of Tyumentsevo accounts for 35.5% of the district's total population.[2]
