Union Commonwealth University is a private university in Barbourville, Kentucky. The college was founded in 1879 and is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Union's approximately 825 undergraduate students represent 27 states and 9 countries.[3]

Union's 100-acre (0.40 km2) campus is in southeastern Kentucky. Approximately 44 percent of the students live in three residence halls and the apartments on campus.
