The Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB or University of Technology Brunei) is a public research university situated in Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei, originally founded as Institut Teknologi Brunei (ITB) in 1986. The university focuses on engineering, business, computing, design, applied sciences, and mathematics. The institutions's research is centred around the university's aim to be "A Global University Impacting Society."[2]
