The Red Banner Ural Military District[1] was an operational–strategic territorial association of the Armed Forces of the Soviet Union and the Russian Federation, which existed in 1918–1922, 1935–1989 and 1992–2001.

The district headquarters was located in Sverdlovsk (Yekaterinburg). From 1919 to 1922, it was called the Priuralsky Military District.
