Adamm holds undergraduate qualifications in both nursing and prosthetics & orthotics, and postgraduate diplomas in operating room nursing and health services management. He completed a Masters of Health Administration, his thesis investigating the issues associated with the capture and management of prosthetic data in operating rooms. He is a Member of the Australian College of Nursing and a Fellow of the Australian College of Health Service Management. He has worked in a number of hospitals and health services across Melbourne, and has completed consultancies in both the private health insurance industry and in overseas hospitals. He is currently a doctoral candidate in Public Health, and is a senior lecturer in Australia and China.
