I am interested in helping the wikipedia project by bringing scientific, logical, balanced approaches to complicated issues. I specialize professionally in blood disorders and blood clotting. I've edited numerous articles on those topics as well as unnecessary health care and stewardship efforts.

I am pleased to see an increase in women editing wikipedia. The Women in Red project is a wonderful initiative and I'm grateful to be a part of it. I've created articles on Artis Henderson, Laura Vanderkam, Marisa Meltzer, Dina Strachan, and D'yan Forest.

Personally, I'm a special needs mom, I like reading and puzzles, and I would like to do standup comedy someday or write jokes professionally in some capacity. Feel free to leave me a joke on my Talk page if you want to trade laughs.

Some of my fun edits were:

  • Awkwafina's stage name refers to her self-perception as ‘awkwardly fine’.
  • Sheila Nevins commented that she was never mentored, but rather de-mentored; fortunately, “revenge is the best mentor”.
  • Maroon 5 lost the UCLA Spring Sing, while UCLA students, to Sara Bareilles.
  • Dame Maggie Smith denied that she was ever a 'dish', despite what a 1960s theater reviewer wrote, and explained that character actors can keep developing their craft without concern over losing their beauty.
  • Opera singer, breakdancer and model Jakub Josef Orlinski joked about a fan’s notebook cover which read “Sorry I wasn’t listening, I was thinking about Jakub Josef Orlinski".
  • "Welcome to Holland", an essay about special needs parenting, doesn't mention that in Amsterdam, even the tourists say there are too many tourists (please see the accompanying graphic on the referenced NPR page).
  • During a two-month road trip, a seasonal L.L. Bean employee driving the Bootmobile met up with the "world's largest roller skate", another novelty vehicle, for a photo. A real shoe of comparable proportions would be a size 708.
