Business districts in Kolkata refers to the commercial, financial or business centres or cluster of offices in the Kolkata Metropolitan Area. Business districts in Kolkata can be classified as:

• Central Business District (CBD) of Kolkata city: Maidan, Park Street, Camac Street, AJC Bose Road & APC Road, Wood Street, Loudon Street, Shakespeare Sarani and its neighbouring areas.
• Secondary Business Districts (SBDs) of Kolkata city: Rashbehari Avenue and Park Circus.
• Peripheral Business District (PBDs) of Kolkata city: Salt Lake Sector-V and New Town

The PBDs of Kolkata i.e., Salt Lake Sector-V and New Town are the largest business districts in the entire Kolkata metropolitan area (KMA) making it the CBD of KMA.^[1]
