- Hey, just giving you a head's up on some outlets that are usable for notability giving purposes. The SF Site is usable, as is SF Signal, Tor.com, SF Crowsnest (to a degree), and some outlets like RT Book Reviews. I normally try to hunt these down via a regular Google search where I'll enclose the title in quotation marks with the author's last name. For example, I'll use the combination here while searching (minus parentheses): ("Summer Knight" Butcher). This will restrict the hits a little more and won't bring up as many false hits. I know that if the title has some words at the beginning like "the" or "a" or something like that, I'll usually leave those off since they can result in wonky searches where something won't come up if one of the websites used a search term/parameter that didn't include this word. So in other words, something like ("Art of Cooking" Martino of Como) can bring up more hits than ("The Art of Cooking" Martino of Como).
- Academic databases can be extremely helpful if you have access to them, as they tend to have indexes that include newspaper and journal articles that wouldn't come up in a regular search at all - especially if they're older articles and journals. I know that JSTOR has some limited access via a general search where you can see the first page and you can sign up for access here, although this may not always hold reviews of contemporary fiction. There are other databases out there and I recommend a general library database if you can get to it. If you just want to see if sources are available I can recommend using my old alma mater's search engine here. It's not as comprehensive as my current school's database, but it will bring up quite a few hits and it's relatively easy to maneuver. Drexel's? Not so much. It'll give you more, but it won't sort as well. Anywho, even if you can't access the sources there, you can always use them to point out to people that sourcing does exist and there are multiple people who would likely be willing to help look at the sourcing for you - myself included. In any case, if you haven't signed up for access via JSTOR, WP:HIGHBEAM, or Wikipedia:Newspapers.com, I highly recommend asking for them. You do a lot of hard work on here and I think you'll find them helpful. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 11:31, 16 October 2015 (UTC)
- Shoot, you show more awareness of policy than a lot of others do, so it's hard to remember sometimes that all things considered, you're a fairly new editor on here. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 11:33, 16 October 2015 (UTC)
- There are more databases here that you can request access to. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 12:04, 16 October 2015 (UTC)
- thanks Tokyogirl79 for all this great info, it will certainly help:)Coolabahapple (talk) 13:30, 16 October 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for your ongoing work in providing deletion sorting for AfD discussions. This oft-unnoticed element of AfD helps to keep matters running smoothly by encouraging greater participation at AfD, which is sometimes lagging in participation. North America1000 07:44, 31 July 2016 (UTC)
