/Day 'n' Nite The comprehensive discography of Korn, a Bakersfield, California-based rock band, consists of eight studio albums, two live albums, one compilation album, five extended plays, one demo album, twenty singles, six video albums, and thirty-two music videos. These figures do not account for material released by members' side projects.
In early 1993, the band took notice of vocalist Jonathan Davis after seeing his band Sexart and attempted to get him to join Creep. Davis initially did not want to join the band, but after consulting a psychic he decided to audition and then joined the band, as mentioned by Jonathan Davis himself in an interview in the DVD Who Then Now?. rented a studio from Jeff Creath, the same person that let lead singer Jonathan Davis live in his garage. The studio was called "Underground Chicken Sound." While they were recording at Underground Chicken Sound, a group of people had been loitering around outside the studio.[1] They released their first demo album, Neidermeyer's Mind, in 1993. The album did not chart nor recieve much attention.[2] Korn released their self titled album on October 11, 1994 which debuted number seventy-two on the Billboard 200. The album revived a 2× Platinum in the United States. Two years later, Korn returned to released their second studio album, Life Is Peachy in the same month. Produced by Ross Robinson, it peaked number three on the Billboard 200, as well as number one on the RIANZ sales charts. It also received a 2× Platinum in the United States. Follow The Leader was released on August 18, 1998, and peaked number one on the Billboard 200, as well as number one on three other charts. The album received a 5× Platinum in the United States, a 3× Platinum in Australia, and a 3× Platinum in Canada. Their fourth studio album was recorded from July to September 1999 at A&M Studios in West Hollywood, California and Atlanta, Georgia and was released November 16, 1999.[3] Issues peaked number one on the Billboard 200 and was awarded a 3× Platinum in the United States. Five days after Issue's release, All Mixed Up, an extended play consisting of five tracks. The album peaked ninety-nine on the UK Albums Chart.
In 2002, Korn released Untouchables, their fifth studio album.
