I am currently in the process of refining my contributions to the geographical alterations section and am trying to find sources to reference for any of the statements made in Late Pleistocene - Holocene Marine Transgressions section of the mainspace article.

The Holocene glacial retreat is a geographical phenomenon that involved the global deglaciation of glaciers that previously had advanced during the Last Glacial Maximum. The retreat of glaciers altered landscapes in many ways and is currently still acting as a result of climate change.
