I'm very rarely around any more but I still get an email when you leave me a message on my talk page so feel free. Or email me any time. I am a housing and human rights activist and work with local housing and homeless advocacy groups like Food Not Bombs. I wrote an undergraduate thesis about excitotoxicity in head trauma in college. Most of my content edits are to neurobiology- and medicine-related articles. My username is based on this symbol: ∇. It has nothing to do with computers, I kind of hate the username since I worry it gives the Dell company advertising, but it would be such a pain to change... I try never to be mean and am very rarely sarcastic. It's very rare that something I say has any subtext. If you're not sure what I meant by something, please ask me about it and give me a chance to clarify. I think that giving constructive feedback, positive or negative, is the right thing to do and is a gift to the recipient. I try to hold myself to that and give feedback even when it's not easy, and I appreciate receiving feedback. I think advertisements are an absolute deal-breaker: I would leave the project if they were introduced. They would create a conflict of interest and critically threaten the project's neutrality. |
