Hi! I'm Duncan1800 (Duncan Malloch). I'm a fan of anything automotive, and a follower of pretty much anything mechanical (tractors, trains, trucks, motorcycles, aircraft, engines, etc.). If there's a car or truck article you don't see, or that you feel needs updating or sourcing, let me know and I'll see what I can do! Lately, my automotive interests have spread into the deep history of motorsports as well.
I'm also interested in old computers and video games, as well as comic books (and the occasional manga series). Yes, I'm a geek, and I'm becoming rather proud of it! Add to that my recent understanding of the term roadgeek, and I guess that fits too. Put it this way - if I actually went to parties, I'd either be intensely boring or extremely fascinating depending on your opinion. To temper those geek-tendencies, I'm also a fairly massive sports fan - baseball and football are favorites, but I also watch a lot of basketball when the other two aren't on.
Perfection is a (remarkably unattainable) goal of mine; hence, I have a tendency to make small edits for what might seem like minor issues. Yes, I have actually edited numerous articles simply to add one mark of punctuation or spell a word correctly. I'm also something of a stickler for clean formatting when it comes to tables and lists - I feel that the code underneath should be at least as clean and readable than the information it presents. Same goes for infoboxes, too.
