The hand in the foreground holding the yellow balloon... isn't mine. But it might have been.

Hi. I'm Dweller. I'm serious about making Wikipedia a happier place for editors, as well as improving the encyclopedia.

People are Wikipedia's most important resource. Newbies and experienced, admins and those without the mop, content contributors and gnomes. We do not value them enough here and I seek to change this as much as I can.

I'm an active admin, bureaucrat, oversighter and editor. I'm also a proud Arhg Kbiroaqrat. I've worked to get a number of articles (and a couple of lists) to Featured Article status, which I'm very proud of... I'm quite fond of some of my essays too. I'm also a former member of the Wikimedia Ombudsman commission.

I mainly edit about cricket, Norwich City and history, but you'll see plenty of me at the Reference Desks. 16 September 2015 marked my tenth anniversary as a Wikipedian.

I named myself after a Van Morrison song; Dweller on the Threshold. (Great live version.)

My favourite charity is Build Africa (formerly International Care & Relief). If you'd like to support a small, efficient charity that's actually making a difference in Africa, drop by their website.
