This is my sandbox. It's mostly meant for me to play in, but feel free to grab a shovel and start digging if you like.
Data accumulated in New South Wales from 2004-2005 showed that, as a breed, registered Australian Cattle Dogs were involved in more more attacks on people than any other breed save the German Shepherd, on an overall basis. On a percentage per capita basis, fourteen other breeds were reported to have been involved in attacks at least as frequently as the Australian Cattle Dog.[1] A study conducted by the same government agency, published in 2012, ranked the Australian Cattle dog as the twenty-seventh most likely breed to be involved in attacks on a percentage-wise basis. 107 registered breeds were ranked in the study.[2]
