Hi, I'm ekedolphin, and I sometimes spend hours on here, just doing some editing and such... I typically tend towards the basketball and professional wrestling sections. Other times I simply surf Wikipedia to learn some new stuff.

I'm a member of the National Basketball Association, professional wrestling, Disney and Webcomics wikiprojects. I've done several WWE Raw recaps for The W message board, but I'm not actively involved in doing that at this time.

I'm an avid fan of online roleplaying, having been a part of both Star Trek and professional wrestling roleplays; I have more patience for the latter because I don't usually have the time to read the roleplays of every single other character in the story. The online webcomic The Order of the Stick has kindled some interest in learning how to play D&D, but I have an extremely limited knowledge of D&D at this time.

I consider myself to be a religious person, and a proud member of the United Church of Christ (a very liberal denomination), as it best jibes with my views on social justice, equality for all human beings, and tolerance for those who are different. I don't believe my religion gives me the right to try and limit the rights of people who are different from me. I'm a member of the Christian Church Uniting in Virginia Beach.

Though I'm heterosexual, I support the legalization of same-sex marriage, because I believe that our society ought to respect the rights of the minority. Just because it's a lifestyle many people don't subscribe to doesn't make it wrong.

Let's see, what else... I'm proudly drug-free and drink alcohol only on occasion. I'm a mild caffeine addict and I'm hooked on sweet tea. I had at least nine glasses of it at a WrestleMania 22 party a few years ago. Good thing refills on tea and soft drinks are free, or I'd have been back there washing dishes.

I'm an avid video-game player, having played video games for nearly twenty years now. The first system I can remember playing was my buddy's Atari 2600, though I can't remember exactly what game that would've been. The first game I have a specific memory of playing was Super Mario Bros., and needless to say I still love the game now as much as I did back then. Though Super Mario Bros. 3 is better in almost every way, because there's so many more things you can do, not the least of which is fly.

My favorite game, though, is Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and for many of the same reasons I love Mario 3 so much-- because of all the different things you can do. Sure, there's the violence, the swearing and the sex, none of which I really have a problem with in the context of a fantasy setting. But my favorite things to do in the game are play pool, play blackjack and fly, none of which involve violence at all. The skydiving's pretty darn fun, too.

I'll write some more as it comes to mind, so that this space is at least as long as my ever-growing userbox, which I clearly enjoy way, way too much.  ;) In the meantime, if you wanna get in contact with me, by all means use the talk page!
