I'm just me...Writer, Musician, Linux Advocate, and known to many as the "Techno-Druid", as it seems that computers like me...I can walk into a room with a malfunctioning system, and it will work for as long as I am there, and fail within minutes of me leaving. I've written a number of articles on subjects ranging from history, to building an operating system. I also write for the show "Let x = x" on CKCU-FM in Ottawa.
I am the former conference chair for CAN-CON, having retired from the position in 2016. You can read about the event in this article, or more fully, the Conference on Canadian Content in Speculative Arts and Literature. This was our return after 9 years on hiatus. CAN-CON 2010 was held August 20-22, at the Travelodge in Ottawa on Carling Ave. Our Guest of Honour was Marie Bilodeau. You can also read about it here: CAN-CON (convention)
Religiously, I am a card-carrying Druid, member of Ár nDraíocht Féin since 1997, but have been studying things Celtic since the late 1980's when Erynn Rowan Laurie through the PODSnet Echomail forum Celtic got me interested in my Celtic heritage. I became a pagan on the Summer Solstice in 1980, when I dedicated myself to Eris (mythology).
