Installation
[edit]SimpleStatus is part script, part template.
The Template
[edit]- Create a subpage in your userspace called
Statussuch as:User:Example/Status. - Paste
{{subst:User:FenrisAureus/SimpleStatus/Install}}into that page. - Transclude that page to display your status wherever you wish by placing
{{User:{{subst:ROOTPAGENAME}}/Status}}onto the page.
The Script
[edit]Paste importScript('User:FenrisAureus/SimpleStatus.js'); // Backlink: User:FenrisAureus/SimpleStatus.js into your common.js.
This will add a link called "Status" at the top of your page next to "Preferences". When clicked, it will open your /Status subpage, already in edit mode.
