Hello world! Welcome to the unassuming landing page of an attempt to begin a small cottage industry in Wikipedia content. I believe the encyclopedia is improved by compensated editors who respect the norms and pillars.

I understand a conflict-of-interest statement is appropriate and this should serve as the first draft of one. I have edited a bit by IP before but this is my first attempt to set up an open Wikipedia improvement service. I do not intend to edit main article space except for obvious minor edits. I have several paid and free options for encyclopedic content, that can be considered by neutral editors. I do not think myself to have a conflict of interest, because I am advising clients that all decisions are subject to my ability to uphold Wikipedia pillars like NPOV, but I recognize that if others consider this a conflict of interest it is a good idea to provide a statement for their benefit.

To ensure I can demonstrate both professional customer service and commitment to Wikipedia's community standards, I may create proactive "articles for creation" drafts prior to being certain of encyclopedicity. Any such drafts will remain in-process until I can determine the best way to use them to improve the encyclopedia. Please feel free to ask me at user talk if you have any questions about any drafts.

Hello again! Obviously something needs to be said about requested edits. It seems to me that if another editor requests a simple edit by using a tag, then I should be able to make such a minor compliant edit in response if nobody else has done so within a month (or if I have made a talk request after the tag and nobody has responded within a week). This ability seems implied by the ability to make requested edits that is mentioned in the conflict principles, but I did not see it directly spelled out anywhere so I am spelling it out here. Just in case someone finds the edit not to be minor, of course that would be relegated to the talk page.

In response to the Terms of Use change and discussion, for the purposes of any conflicted edits, my employer, client, and affiliation is Self, Frieda Beamy, and the entities indicated by my edit history, as should be obvious from the above. It is acceptable to regard all my edits as potentially conflicted, although I am striving to keep less than half of my topics or edits actually conflicted. There appears to be consensus that "Self" is acceptable disclosure from an account on good terms, although I may be setting myself up a test case for this consensus. I respect that some information about me appears on the Internet, but posting information about me to Wikipedia would be a serious breach.

Also implied above: If you ask me to be more specific about where my COI resides, to protect my privacy, I have already said that I consider my COI to be only potential but that I accept being regarded as having actual COI with respect to topics I edit. I may have anywhere from close connection to no connection with any of these topics. That should be enough. Frieda Beamy (talk) 18:09, 27 July 2014 (UTC)
