The following is a list of sporting events in Portland, Oregon, which occurred or has occurred on an annual basis, or was a one-time game, series or tournament. Portland has hosted several basketball championships which includes the 1945 Pacific Coast Professional Basketball League championship series, the 1965 NCAA Men's Division I Final Four, three NBA Finals (1977, 1990, 1992), two West Coast Conference Men's Basketball Tournaments (1992, 2007), and two Big Sky Conference Men's Basketball Tournaments (2005, 2007). Despite the lack of football teams in Portland the city has hosted several significant matches including seven Civil War games, 21 Oregon–Washington rivalry games, three NAIA Division II Football National Championships, and the 2000 Indoor Professional Football League Championship. When it comes to baseball Portland has hosted five Pacific Coast League Championship Series (1936–37, 1965, 1983, 1993), the 1997 Northwest League Championship Series, and the 2009 Triple-A All-Star Game.
