He is the author of The War of All the People: The Nexus of Latin American Radicalism and Middle Eastern Terrorism, published in 2012 by Potomac Books. Perdue's book is an analysis of the threat posed by the collaboration between Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez and his allies in Latin America with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the various proxy forces that serve to "export the Iranian revolution" to America's doorstep. The book analyzes the aspects of asymmetric warfare that are utilized by these regimes to incrementally subvert their own governments once they are elected, and then to export that subversion throughout the hemisphere.[1]
