Hello! I am Kelapstick. I have been an editor on Wikipedia since 2006, and an administrator since 2013. I live in Nova Scotia, Canada. In addition to the various places I have lived within Canada, I have also lived/worked in Guyana, Nevada, Western Australia, Mongolia, and Indonesia. I have created somewhere in the neighbourhood of 100 articles, including a few disambiguation pages. They are listed below if you are interested. My primary focus in article creation has been in mining and bacon (I am a member of both of their WikiProjects). I have had over 50 of my contributions featured in the Did you know? section of the main page. I have either nominated or significantly updated seven items that have been featured in the In the News section (including recent deaths). I take pictures, and upload them to Wikimedia Commons, some of my images have been used in articles outside Wikipedia, such as these ones at Mining Examiner, mining.com (twice), Popular Science (which funnily used a Canadian coal mine picture for an article on American legislation), Nevada Public Radio, and cracked.com. Had I known my McLobster photo would become a stock photo for Handelsblatt, I would have ensured it was better quality. Honestly there is a better one on Commons if you are looking for one.
