A pashmina is an article of clothing, traditionally made of pashmina wool, that a woman wears around her shoulders.[1] Although it originally referred to variants of the Kashmir shawl made of pashmina wool, it became culturally synonymous with shawls, and since evolved to refer generically to any fashionable shawl, wrap, stole or scarf.
