User:Lisapollison

May 2022: This User is recovering from eye surgery to restore her sight. She is back to editing, but taking it slow. This user was legally blind for over 5 years but the last 2 were truly awful. This User apologizes for having to step away from various projects and not being able to answer the calls to weigh in on issues under discussion.

This User is a rational skeptic but abhors skeptical activists who seek to impose an aggressive skeptical POV on articles having to do with religion, folk beliefs, and/or the paranormal. This User's understanding and confidence in evolution as a biological process is not threatened by others' belief in creation and/or intelligent design. This user would like to remind other skeptics to take a deep breath once week and repeat "It is not my job to disavow the entire world of beliefs I find to be silly, stupid and just not true."

This user admits to not being perfect and asks forgiveness of other editors for any offenses both inadvertent and/or seemingly deliberate. This User tries hard not to take things personally but there are some users who just seem to exist to follow your every move just to undo your edits. This User is a work in progress, as are we all.

This User makes a lot of typos. Please know that I don't do it on purpose. I type far too fast for the keyboard to process and my sight is increasingly impaired. I'm working on it.
