I have my MA in Museum Studies and have a background in Social Studies education and Early childhood education. I am now pursuing a career in museum technology with an interest in collections management and the digital humanities. I work for The Children's Museum of Indianapolis as a digital marketing content coordinator and I am a contributing blogger for the New Media Consortium; Wikipedia-museum collaboration is a central component in both of these positions.
I am very interested in Museum–Wikipedia relations and I have been active in the GLAM-Wiki community for the past two years. Since August 2010 I have served as Wikipedian in Residence at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis, a role that I maintain in my current position at the museum.
In 2012, I will be serving as the United States Cultural Partnerships Coordinator for the Wikimedia Foundation. See the the official announcement for more information.
