Hello, Wikiverse. I figured that I edit enough that it is about time that I actually put a little effort into my user page. I've been working on the English Wikipedia since September 2005, and I'm pretty amazed how engrossing the project has become. Looking at how my editing has progressed since my start here, I think I find myself changing my original positions on a number of issues that are dealt with on this project, which I think is inevitable if you spend enough time here.

Currently, my editing interests include topics related to Major League Baseball, Minor league baseball, college basketball, American football, colleges & universities, and anything else that happens to strike my fancy as I look about. I tend to do a lot of work on templates, navboxes and categories. I am working on getting more involved on project-oriented things like deletion discussions, new page patrolling and getting more active in my wikiprojects.

If you're stopping by to drop a note on my talk page or if you are a new user, please note that any edits or disagreements I may have on a particular article, template, etc. are not personal. Early on in my time on WP, I was sometimes quick to get snappy about editing disagreements, which I think is natural for folks just getting involved. Since then, I have tried to work to promote discussion and work towards consensus, even if that means my POV doesn't win out in the end. The goal for everyone here is a better encyclopedia, working under the rules established by the project, and that is made easier by being an honest broker and remembering WP:AGF.
