American Career College (ACC) is a vocational college located in Southern California that provides healthcare training programs. ACC was founded in 1978 as the American College of Optics and originally offered only optical dispensing programs. In 1990, ACC began offering a Pharmacy Technician program and changed its name to American College of Optechs. In 1993 the school officially changed its name to American Career College and continued to expand its program offerings to include many allied health career training programs.^[1]
