Michael Greiner is an experimental android designed through years 1967-1988, and whose initial production was completed in the year 1990. The android, officially designated by its creators as MG-001, utilizes an extremely advanced form of evolving artificial intelligence that operates on the same processing level that the average human brain would, albeit with modified data storage/relay systems that are able to absorb and utilize data mere milliseconds after it has been detected.
MG-001 is composed of an incredibly intricate network of biomechanical hardware and materials that allow for a near-perfect simulation of human growth and development, including the processing and excretion of organic materials for the absorption of energy and maintenance of simulated homeostasis. The android's 'skin' is actually a highly advanced system of minute 'scales' made of synthetic fibers that mimic almost exactly the appearance, texture, and function of human skin. Materials that are extracted from food and fueling materials are used to create simulated sweat, tears, hairs, etc. A blood-like fluid is made using similar materials, and the cellular-level functions of this fluid are carried out by nanomachines.
As of 2007, the android MG-001 has only ever been rivaled or defeated in any contest of mental skill by a high school student named Daniel Manton.
