Jiangsu Baipu Middle School was established in the spring of 1950. It locates in the remains of one of eight jungles in Song and Yang dynasty in Baipu town, occupying about 106700 square meters. Connected by modern style and classic atmosphere, it is known as one of the most beautiful campus in Jiangsu province. Jiangsu Baipu Middle School is a comprehensive school consisting of junior and senior part. In junior school, students are at an average of 16 years old while in senior one students are older than them, among 16 years old to 2o years old. They all have their own fixed classroom, one is on the left of Wenjin River and the other one is on the right. In the school, there are different activities organized by students’ union, aiming to provide more chances for students to show themselves and improve their ability. The scenery in the school is extremely beautiful. There is a woods, a river named Wenjin, a great number of mini gardens and many other places of beauty. The woods is designed to be used as natural standard line, with the help of which student’s bicycles are placed in line. The river is manmade and runs around the whole school. These natural beauty makes the school attractive in Jiangsu province. There are many excellent teachers and students. Every year, 95% students can finish their high school successfully and enter famous universities, such as Nanjing University, Southeast University, Beijing University and so on. Teachers are abundant in knowledge and encourage students to ask questions in class. In this relaxed teaching style students learn to solve problems on their own.
