My name is Nancie Ravenel.
I work as an objects conservator at Shelburne Museum in Shelburne, VT where my research interests include the manufacture and conservation of coated leather, painted and gilded surfaces, American folk art and wildfowl decoys.
I am interested in art conservation and information regarding cultural property, particularly in Vermont.
Mostly I'm listening and learning about Wikipedia. Slowly, I've started to contribute articles about Middlebury, Vermont sculptures for Wikipedia:WikiProject Public art and contributing material about cultural landmarks in Vermont.
Articles I've started: Two Open Rectangles, Excentric, Variation VI (sculpture) • Frisbee (sculpture) • Emma Willard Memorial • Kalkin House (Shelburne Museum) • Smog (1/3) • Middlebury to Her Soldiers (sculpture)
