The Rerum Hungaricarum decades (Latin for "Decades of Hungarian History") (Hungarian: A magyar történelem tizedei) is a Latin medieval chronicle from the Kingdom of Hungary from 1497. The work was written by the Italian humanist, Antonio Bonfini (Latin: Antonius Bonfinius) who was commissioned by King Matthias Corvinus of Hungary in 1488.
Antonio Bonfini (1427‒1502) gained invaluable merits in the history-writing of Hungary with this work. Up until the end of the 18th century, this work served as primary source for Hungarian history in the European academic thought.[1]
