I know, I know... nobody likes to think about death. Whenever a loved one dies, the funeral and its prep, the loss itself, is a slap-in-the-face, a wakeup call. It abruptly reminds us of our mortality. "We all die someday," "Death is a part of life," we've heard it all. We don't like to think about it because we all fear it. No human being on Earth is certain about what happens when we die. The only thing we do know is that death is an unknown, and what we truly fear is that unknown. "Knowledge is power," so when you read this page and the WP article about death, your power over your fear will increase, improve. Fear of death won't go away altogether ; however, it can be squelched, lessened, and the more knowledge you gain, the less fear you will endure.
