The purpose of this Soundtrack of Wikipedians is to try and provide a collection of those songs that you, the people with whom I spend big part of my time, listen and enjoy. I believe that one learns a great deal about a person, and can also understand his/her character and ideas better, if one gets to know "their" music.

It'd be very nice if as many Wikipedians as possible could find this space and gift us all their all-time favorites, those songs that define their mood and character, those that make them daydream or feel better, those that bring them dear memories... or simply that music that they really like! And of course, anyone can change their selection at any time since we all evolve from day to day, and our music with us. - Phaedriel

Just a few suggested guidelines:

  • Please limit your list to no more than 25-30 entries! You may of course post as many as you want, but other people will be unlikely to go through a list of a hundred songs. Okay, after the uproar of indignation that this limitation has created, just post as many as you want - the hardrive space is the limit! :)
  • List your favorite music, and just that, please! There's no use in commenting others' selections or your own here. It's great if you wish to do so, but please, do it at the talk page instead.
  • You may or not want to post an image, either your pic or whatever you want to present yourself - that's entirely up to you (no fair use images please!)
  • Please add yourself following alphabetic order. (except the rest of us put Phaedriel first :) ) The easiest way to add your entry is to copy and paste an existing one, and then replacing the proper information with your own. Don't be afraid to mess up! This is just for fun - if you malformed your entry, somebody else will fix it later for you, don't worry.
