Greetings! My name is Michael and I live in Houston, Texas. I served in the US Army as an infantryman on the tail end of Desert Storm, then after my tour attended Sam Houston State University where I studied computer science and the liberal arts.

Later I worked as a programmer and engineer, and then in a number of management roles over the years - some with fancy titles. I currently work as a graphics designer and policy manager and spend a lot of my spare time in community activism. I have interests in art history, literature, philosophy, and government.
