The Dupont Circle CVS escalator is an escalator[citation needed] connecting the first and second floor[citation needed] of the Dupont Circle branch of CVS Pharmacy in Washington, D.C., United States.[citation needed] It was presumably[according to whom?] installed when the branch opened.[when?] Residents of the neighborhood who visit the CVS have noted its existence.[citation needed] Little information has been publicly disclosed about the technical details of the escalator,[citation needed] but its function is presumably similar to most others.[according to whom?][citation needed] It includes handrails[citation needed] and is painted black.[note 1][citation needed] Daily usage is estimated to range in perhaps the hundreds.[vague][citation needed]
