Great userpage... and I got the barnstar.
|
Thanks a lot! Very well-organized userpage. I like it! Jw21/PenaltyKillah(discuss•edits) 15:03, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the complement. I was thinking of remaking it, but now I think that I'll keep it the way it is. I bid adieu. selfwormTalk) 19:17, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Hey, thanks for the compliments on my userpage. Not sure if you noticed but you've signed my signature book twice now! But that's even better! Thanks again. — jacĸrм (talk) 03:03, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
- Well it's so nice that it deserves it! selfwormTalk) 03:19, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

I found your page... http://en.wikipedia.orgview_html.php?sq=Qlik&lang=&q=User:Selfworm/Award --Μ79_Šp€çíá∫횆tell me about it 23:36, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, but did u find the hidden link? It's the link that makes you deserve the award.selfwormTalk) 01:58, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
- Ok... someone should remove the link. It is supposed to be hidden, after all. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jw21 (talk • contribs) 18:48, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
- The Selfworm/Award link doesn't matter since after all, it is possible for anyone to simply copy and paste the award into their user page anyway. I will give the award only to those who have found the link. And as of yet, I see no evidence that M79_specialist has found the link. selfwormTalk) 21:04, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

I just did!
|
- I just did! After some searching, I did in fact, find the hidden link. --Μ79_Šp€çíá∫횆tell me about it 04:19, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
- Well then if you could please provide evidence of that on the page then I'll give you the award. Technicalities you know. selfwormTalk) 07:17, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
- It went to "what links here" and found it on your templates page. :) --Μ79_Šp€çíá∫횆tell me about it 22:39, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
- Well then since you've found it, you know what you have to do to get the award. selfwormTalk) 02:31, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

'Seven Wonders' template
|
Hi! I noticed you developed a Seven Wonders of the Ancient World template. Were you planning on replacing the Seven Wonders infobox? I rather like your template better than the infobox, though I do have some thoughts about its design. Good Work! Jeff Dahl 04:42, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- Hello Jeff Dahl, I created the Seven Wonders template before is saw the Seven Wonders infobox. So if you want to keep one and delete the other, then be my guest. Or if you want to nominate both of them for deletion and let the Wikipedia community decide which one should be kept, then you're more than welcome to do that as well. Also, you may change the template to what your heart desires. selfwormTalk) 21:51, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- I much prefer your template, I personally never liked the old one. Since it is only used on a few pages, I'll be bold and remove the old template. Thanks! Jeff Dahl 02:43, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
- Reckless man! :0 But more seriously, thanks for your help with this, and feel free to change it as much as you want. Take care. selfwormTalk) 06:05, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

Hello
|
Hi I was wondering how did you create The New messeges prank. Can you please tell me?--Hardcore Hak (talk) 18:23, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
- Just find the code for the message box, replace the link, and then copy the code onto your userpage. Although be warned, these pranks are now frowned upon by administrators. selfwormTalk) 20:20, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
- Don't know, look around people's userpages and try to find it. selfwormTalk) 21:11, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

Are we allowed to use your templates?
|
I really like your toolbar template. Are we allowed to use it?--Smashbrosboy
- Go ahead, you can use all that you like. And thanks for asking before using it, I appreciate it.selfwormTalk) 21:11, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
|
How do we get the toolbar template to link to our own pages?
|
If I type in your template it links to your pages. If I go to the templates created area and copy the code, and replace all places where it says selfworm with smashbrosboy, my whole user page goes all weird. How do we get it to work?--Smashbrosboy
- Don't just replace your name with mine, replace the entire links with your own links. selfwormTalk) 06:15, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

Important intellgence report concerning YOU Must read.
|
Okey dokey let us begin. People are using your little bar design that you have. You know that bar that links to your subpages? Well. A fellow user going by the name of User:IXella007 had copied the bar, without changing the stuff. Basically your links are on his page. Somebody might mistake your awards and other stuff as his. Just thought you should know. RuneWiki777 22:29, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads up. selfwormTalk) 05:58, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

Barnstar error
|
Hm, I see this is the main topic of discussion here. Anyway, I tried to edit the section in my talk page, but managed to edit the template itself without realising it. Sorry for that. I have undone the edit now, but the history will be a little less pristine than what you would have preferred. Seriously, though, the edit link is highly misleading, and you might want to change it.
In any case, I thank you for the recognition. I have already put the award in my user page (the real user page). I now challenge you to find my secret page! Waltham, The Duke of 18:14, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
- Huh, I didn't realize that the edit link went back to the template. Thanks for the heads up. And sorry about the redundant barnstar. selfwormTalk) 18:36, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
- Never mind; this one will be archived anyway. After all, recognition from the creator of one of the hardest-to-find secret pages is valuable. By the way, sorry for botching your talk page as well, although I doubt I am the first one to get this wrong... I like the format, but it wouldn't hurt if its internals were a little simpler—it would save you and your visitors a lot of future trouble. Waltham, The Duke of 10:27, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
- Well I'm glad that it's resolved and as for the format of the messages on this talk page, I've made it as simple as I know how. If you have any suggestions then please tell me. Take care. selfwormTalk) 21:55, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
- It appears simple enough now that I had another look at it... I don't know, things just keep going awry around me. Perhaps I was just in a hurry the previous time. On another note, thanks for the "mathematical ball" (its exact proper name eludes me right now). Well, see you. Waltham, The Duke of 15:22, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
- As it turns out, the ball was from another message; I only attributed it to you because your signature appeared right next to it. Unfortunately, as I now realised, the next section of my takl page was edited into the template by a Wikipedian leaving (or, rather, trying to leave) a message. I have been forced to remove the template from my talk page in order to avoid further problems. If you want my advice, don't use it at all; it is only linked to from one page at the moment (other than yours), and templates have the bad habit of leading people to the secret page anyway; as a matter of fact, it helped me find it as well. Better stick to simply showing the code to the winners, as I do. Multiple benefits, and no real trouble. Waltham, The Duke of 15:54, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

The Irrational Proof Medal

This medal is awarded to NightFalcon90909 for knowing how to prove that the square root of two is irrational. You know one of the simplest proofs in the world! Great job! /sarcasm.

How can Banach, of Krakow and Lwow origin can be a Goral? - Darwinek (talk) 21:13, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
- Hello Darwinek, this is because both of his parents were Gorals as they were natives of the Podhale region. selfwormTalk) 22:57, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for response. - Darwinek (talk) 21:33, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

New messages bar
|
Hello there. As you may have noticed, I've deleted your template User:Selfworm/NewMessages. This is because our guideline on simulated interface messages in userpages states that this is generally found to be disruptive, and cases of their use should be removed except when they are used in testing. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me, however please do not re-add the bar. Thank you! Happy editing. Hersfold (t/a/c) 22:28, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
