I like Wikipedia and use it a lot. I try to add value where I can.

I have little time to make significant contributions to Wikipedia beyond the occasional grammar touch up, fact check, or vandalism removal. That said, occasionally I'll take the opportunity to write about (or improve the writings of others on) things that I enjoy or am passionate about.

My edit count is relatively low as compared to the amount of time I've been contributing to Wikipedia and the amount of content I've worked on. Mostly this is because I've learned to preview my edits before saving them. I believe that lists such as this, this, and this are better measurements of your productivity as an editor than lists like this or this. Similarly, I believe that editors should pursue awards such as this, this, and this (or compete for this) rather than trying to accumulate service awards or barnstars. That said, I still believe it's important to recognize great work whenever you notice it by giving barnstars to those responsible for the contribution(s) and I am appreciative of those who recognize my efforts with barnstars or other recognition.
