Hi there. I'm a native of San Diego, California and a UCSD graduate.
I've made occasional edits on Wikipedia for many years. While I do gravitate toward subjects that interest me, I also tend to edit any page I see that needs improvement. In addition to more substantial contributions, some of the things I often fix on sight include basic layout issues, improperly named articles, backwards chronologies, useless wikilinks to dates, incorrectly placed inline citations, and improperly formatted headers.
My username is just my initials three times. (Wildly creative, I know.) "Teekay", "tk3", or "tk" are all fine to call me as well.
Some thoughts on Wikipedia. The more time I spend here, the more I understand the massive scale of this project. It's a sprawling collection of not only every subject imaginable, but also policies, essays, discussions, projects and a bramble of other pages that are easy to get lost in and overwhelmed by. It's been said in countless ways before, but this site is possibly the greatest collection of information that has been assembled in human history. Despite its flaws, I feel privileged to be a part of it.
