  • Use {{subst:User:Tompw/sandbox8a|Things in|and stuff|yuthe=yes}} for [[Things in the Yukon and stuff|YU]]
  • Use {{subst:User:Tompw/sandbox8a|Things in|and stuff|ntthe=yes}} for [[Things in the Northwest Territories and stuff|NT]]
  • (the provinces and Nunavut will be the same regardless).
  • When subst'ing this still works. However, you end up with a parser template in the middle of the result, which "ntthe" and/or "yuthe" replaced by "yes" if specififed. For example {{subst:User:Tompw/sandbox8a|Things in|and stuff|yuthe=yes}} produces [[Things in {{#ifeq:yes|yes|the_|}}Yukon and stuff|YU]]. You may want to edit this out by hand.
