I am a life-long Ohioan with a strong aversion to typographical errors. And I've been making Userboxen.

Anyway, I'm 61, single, living in Columbus, feeding my many hobbies and interests. I'm a bassist of some ability, a guitarist of no particular note (no pun intended), an out-of-practice keyboardist, and eternally optimistic about my chances with my theremin. 'The Rev' is the short form of my nickname from MST3K fandom, The Rev Dr Sherwood Forrester, and I have been ordained in the ULC (who hasn't?) for the purposes of being a credentialed minister in the Church of the SubGenius (praise Bob!).

Other obsessions include the Grateful Dead, knitting and crochet, photography, golf and minigolf and reading Asimov and Adams.

I find myself in the unusual position of disclaiming a userbox of my own devising, {{User:Trdsf/Userbox/PlutoNoIAUNo|nocat=true}}. I will leave it in place for those using it, but I no longer agree with the position it embodies. Upon reflection, I find the IAU's bases for defining a planet to be largely sensible, although I don't think they communicated it terribly well (especially with the earlier fiasco giving us a twelve-planet system including Ceres, and reclassifying the Pluto-Charon system as a 'double planet'). But, there's always room for reasoned differences of opinion, so I don't wish to discommode those who still think the IAU's definition is a mess -- I can certainly see your point, even if I don't agree with it anymore.

I also have to pull my use of the "MMORPGs are a waste of time" box because I've gotten myself addicted to Wizard 101, for which I will probably be making a box since I couldn't find one. :D
