I am a journalist and social science researcher. I contribute to several newspapers, magazines and academic papers in Spain and America.
In the meantime, I work for a communication agency doing several research works and written articles, for the media and for Wikipedia.
I am also contributing to Wikipedia (mainly in spanish edition) with several articles created or translated that I think may be of interest (some totally voluntary, others paid), and also improving or contributing some new information to other articles. In the cases of receiving remuneration for these articles, I visibly point it out in this, my User page.
The quality of the articles and the professionalism of a researcher and journalist should not vary: whether their work is paid or voluntary. I adhere completely to the rules of Wikipedia and try, as in the newspapers, media, or academic articles I have worked and collaborate with, to be a neutral and distant narrator, without any personal involvement. Journalistic and cultural work has been created over time since the dawn of the Enlightenment and Encyclopedia by people who knew the subjects, who were paid for their work in a dignified and honest way; so I ask that this work be contemplated by other fellow Wikipedians with the same respect.
